Our candles are made from all-natural soy and coconut wax. Alana Jake does not use paraffin wax in our blend because of air quality concerns, soot, and it is not a renewable resource. Paraffin wax can release small amounts of chemicals that can irritate the respiratory system, especially in enclosed spaces. Alana Jake prioritizes clean burning, eco-friendly materials.

Alana Jake uses wicks that are 100% cotton and do not contain lead, zinc, or any other metals.

To get the most out of your candle, we recommend following these tips: Burn for 3-4 hours at a time: This will help prevent tunneling, which can waste wax. Tunneling happens when the candle burns only around the edge, leaving unmelted wax in the center. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn: A long wick can cause the candle to burn hotter and use more wax. Burn on a heat-resistant surface: This will help prevent the candle from overheating and damaging the container. Avoid drafts and vents: Drafts can cause the candle to burn unevenly and shorten its lifespan.
